Our 13th annual Walk for Hope will be held in Spring 2022. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Walk for Hope is a fun-filled event that builds on the community of children, teens and adults with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), offers support to families and raises crucial funds for IBD research and care at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Our 2021 event was held virtually due to the pandemic, but we’re hoping to celebrate in person again in 2022!

The IBD Family Research Council (FRC) was founded in 2006 as a group of grateful families with the mission of raising funds for IBD research at CHOP. Walk for Hope was created by the FRC in 2009 and has become the group’s annual fundraising event. It is the only major event in the greater Philadelphia area directly supporting pediatric IBD research.
